IRCTC official app for WINDOWS8

Microsoft and IRCTC have jointly launched exclusive Windows 8 App that will run on Windows smartphones, Tablets as well as Windows 8 based PCs.Press release said that “The app has been made available exclusively for Windows devices”.There is no info whether the app will be released for Android & IOS.

The app is built on Windows Azure platform for all the services between the app and IRCTC servers.
The app is fast unlike the WEB platform.Ticket booking is very fast using this app.Hope people will feel free booking tickets through this app.

Creating Guest account in GoogleChrome

Usually a lot of people like family members,friends will be using our computers and they will also be using the browsers.Usually people choose a Google account to sync their Data,Bookmarks and we don't want our family members or friends data to be synced to our accounts.

So,we can add guest accounts in Google Chrome and can create a separate user and have their data and bookmarks synced with their accounts.Doing so,we eliminate omnibox suggestions and history to the users of computer.Also there is no need to logoff and go to guest account in our computer.

Creating Guest account/adding new users:

1. Goto settings.
    
2. Locate Users.
   
   
3. click on the Add new user button.
   
   
4. Choose a name and picture to the guest account and click on create and a desktop shortcut to new user will be added automatically.

Write and send e-mails in any language inside Gmail

Emails are the convenient and easiest way to communicate with friends or family members.Friends and Family members may be staying in different parts of country or world.So,it would feel good if we communicate with them in their local language.Sometimes,finding the right words and typing them becomes difficult.

So Gmail has introduced "INPUT TOOLS" providing support for users to type in any language of their wish using a single keyboard.You need not have a keyboard of other language to type the languages.

Google added 100 virtual Keyboards,Transliterators and IME's into Gmail for better Language support.Users can toggle across languages of their own.They can mix up different languages and write emails.

        Enabling Input Tools for Gmail

1. Click the gear in the top right.
2. Select Settings.
3. In the General tab, select the checkbox next to “Enable input tools” under the “Language” section. (If you don’t see Enable Input Tools, you may need to click on the Show advanced options link next to “Display Language” menu.)
4. In the “Input Tools settings" window that appears, double-click the input tool you'd like from the "All input tools" field, and it'll move to the "Selected input tools" field. You can also select the input tool and use the grey arrows to move them between the two fields. Reorder your input tools by selecting any input tool and clicking the up and down arrows.
5. Click Ok, then Save Changes at the bottom of the Gmail settings page.
   
   You can edit these selections at any time by returning to your settings and clicking Edit tools in the “Language” section.

To turn the Input Tool on or off, click the button. If you've enabled multiple input tools, you can click the down-arrow menu to switch between them.

Search for any file in your computer very fast

Retrieving data from pendrive containing shortcut files

Often people see that the data in their pen-drives are converted into shortcuts making them unable to see the data.It is due to virus which is changing the permissions to the files in the drive.It can be observed that capacity of the pen-drive is occupied but the files are not visible.

Then in that case just perform these steps to retrieve back your original data.

1. Go to command prompt (win+R ->cmd)
2. Go to the directory of pen-drive (If it is G: drive, then type G: and hit enter)
3. now run the following command.
4. attrib /s /d -r -a -s -h * Now you can see that the data in your pen-drive is visible.
   Have a backup of that data and format the drive and use it further. :)
